A little poetry

Reverse Haiku--Relections on the Duck Pond on the South Side of Campus

The ducks, they are a'quacking,
I'm here thought-snacking,
My very own Walden Pond.

:-)

Any haikus/reverse haikus you want to share? Let's see what you've got.

I like it, but I must protest about the number of syllables in the ultimate line. Perhaps a removal of "Pond" is in order?
Thanks for introducing me to reverse haikus, I've never heard of them before.

Good point! I modified it, do you like the new version?

I actually just made up the "reverse Haiku" thing... maybe it exists already, but I've never heard of it. It just fit my mood :-) You should write one, it's fun!

I've always been a fan of your poetry! Will you post that one poem that we all memorized and used to recite? Do you see them... ?

I don't have a reverse haiku for you, but thought I should let you know, that you writing that poem is just one of the many reasons why I love you. I'll get you a good reverse haiku soon . . .
